We’re a solution for the items that keep stacking up on your to-do list. Below are quick answers to the questions we get most often about our services and how we work.

  • We serve most of O‘ahu, mainly Honolulu and surrounding areas:‍ ‍Hawaii Kai to Kapolei, Mililani, Kailua/ Kaneohe and everywhere in between. If you’re not sure your address is in our service area, contact us and we’ll confirm.

  • We help with repairs, installations, and small-to-mid home improvement projects, including drywall , painting, door and window, flooring, plumbing and electrical, and general punch-list work for homes and rentals.

  • We do mostly small repairs, but will do a small renovation when conditions are right. FIXIT can handle small repairs as well as improvement projects depending on scope. We can do kitchen and bathroom renovations.

  • For small straightforward jobs, we can give a ballpark range in advance based on photos and details. For larger projects, including kitchen/bath remodels, flooring and painting, we provide pricing only after a site visit.

  • It would be ideal if you could. It helps us identify materials/parts and confirm the existing condition before the visit. There’s lots we won’t know until we get there, but photos definitely help.

  • Scheduling depends on current demand and job type, but we aim to offer the earliest available appointment and clear arrival windows. If your issue is urgent, tell us what’s happening and we’ll prioritize if possible.

  • Please clear access to the work area and set aside any related materials (parts you already purchased, paint color, hardware, etc.). If the job involves a tenant or building access, let us know any entry instructions ahead of time.

  • Yes. We work with property managers, landlords, and short-term rental hosts for turnovers, punch lists, repairs between tenants, and ongoing maintenance. We can also coordinate access and provide updates after the visit.

  • That’s fine. If you already have the item on-site (like a faucet, light fixture, or hardware), we can install it. We’ll confirm compatibility and any extra materials needed during the assessment.

  • We stand behind our workmanship. If something we installed or repaired isn’t right, contact us and we’ll review it and make it right based on the job details.
